One custom capability is in Central’s Multi-Discrete Modules™. These devices combine multiple devices or monolithic die into a single package; integrated devices save board space, present operational efficiency improvements, and enhance design security. MDMs are the ideal solution for space-saving designs or applications where an integrated solution is beneficial.
Products include standard and custom small signal transistors, bipolar power transistors, MOSFETs, diodes, rectifiers, protection devices, current limiting diodes, bridge rectifiers, and thyristors.
Devices are available in industry standard surface mount and through-hole packages, MDMs (Multi Discrete Modules™), and as bare die. Silicon Carbide die also available. Standard devices can be up-screened to meet various high reliability equivalent standards and customer-specified requirements. Diminishing source products are also available.

Hyperfast Rectifiers
Designed for use with Super Junction MOSFETs, Astute Electronics is offering the new 600V, dual 15A common cathode and dual 30A common cathode HyperFast rectifiers in the TO-247 case from Central Semiconductor.
Ideal for use with Central’s upcoming Super Junction MOSFETs, these rectifiers are highly efficient and offer outstanding performance with a very fast trr of 35ns at a VR of 30V and IF at 1A with a di/dt=300A/µs.
These HyperFast Rectifiers will be utilized in PFC, Flyback diode configurations, DC/DC converters, and Switch-mode power supplies.
Spacellite MOSFETs
These new products from Central Semiconductor help to reduce costs without compromising quality or reliability. Meets Space 2.0 methodology and directives.
Equivalent to MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-PRF-38534 devices.
